Please Help- I Think I'm Being Stalked By My Biological Father After Being No-contact For 10 Years.

I'm extremely stressed right now and have absolutely no clue. I'll provide some basic background info that may or may not be relevant- I don't know anymore I'm too scared. I'm a 19- almost 20- year old girl and I haven't seen my biological father somewhere around 10-12 years ago when I was in foster care. He was a really bad alcoholic and I was passed back and forth between him and foster care until I was about 8. From what I understand, my Aunt filed a restraining order on him after he drove from South Dakota to Mississippi and was waiting outside the intermediate school multiple days a week for about a month. Since I said no to parental visits shortly after, I've never seen him again. In 8th grade, shortly after I was adopted, I did briefly chat with my bio dad through Google Hangouts, but I soon abandoned that email and decided I was done with him for good.

Now, about my mom (yes, I believe this is relevant) I saw her even LESS than I did my bio dad. She had been a bit of a substance abuser when I was young and I didn't see her in person until I decided to go live with her right after I graduated in May of 2023. However, due to complex circumstances that I've detailed in my one other post on a different community- I soon left 6 months later. She's no longer here with us and I feel immense guilt for it. However, I think her passing is what may have started this whole situation.

About two months before I made that reddit post on my mom's 1 year death anniversary (so 6 months ago), I noticed there was a red 2005 PT Cruiser in town. Sure, many wouldn't have seen that as weird, but I live in a small town and it was not tourist season. Not once had I ever seen a red 2005 PT cruiser besides the one my bio dad owned. The main reason it caught my attention was because the left front bumper had a large dent in it and there was some scratched paint on the right back door.

My dad's car had those exact same marks when I was taken from him for the final time. I remember this vividly because the memories were very traumatic for me. The scratch on the back door was when I had opened it and bumped it into a tree when I was 5 and my bio dad had gotten angry and smashed my thumb when he slammed the door shut. The dent in the front left bumper was from when we got into an accident shortly after getting kicked out of the movie theatre because he thought putting vodka into a gallon jug that used to contain water was a good idea. (I remember we had went to watch Interstellar)

Since then, there have been calls from unknown numbers. Someone's been leaving notes at the door of my new apartment. My boss told me she noticed the red PT Cruiser sitting in the driveway of the house right across the street (no one lives there). And just last week someone smashed in the window of the apartment, but nothing was taken besides a family photo of me and my adoptive family last Christmas. I don't know what to do, I'm scared out of my mind.

What can I do? Do I need evidence or is it alright to just go to the police with my concerns anyway? I'm genuinely worried for my adoptive family since he now knows what they look like AND where they live (well, the house they live part-time while they renovate) since that photo was taken right outside the house.
