Plumbing Company Lied About Issue And Charged Us Twice Without Informing Us
I called for my toilet/shower backing up and my sink not properly draining. We were out of town and the technician came to the house, was there for less than an hour and sent us an invoice for cabling the main line & left stating “everything was draining when I left”. However my tenant said the sink was not properly draining before he left. $300
We called the company and they said they would send the technician out to assess it. Well the same technician came out and blindly cabled the line and said “the main line collapsed and you need to replace it.” Then charged us $208 without saying they would (they did for the first call).
We called a separate plumbing company and they said there’s nothing wrong with the main line and that the line was just never properly cleared. The cameraed the line.
Once the second plumbing company sends me an invoice stating the main line was okay I will call the first company back to try and settle this.
Can I post a 1 star review with evidence on every single review website I can without legal trouble? Can I name the technician in the review? (First name)
Can I report them to any licensing or business agency for unlawful or unethical wrongdoing for lying and charging for a lie??
Can I do anything to argue this $200 bill? They didn’t do anything
