Ptsd Court Help

So this is going to sound long and winded and I'm sorry for that but I have a court date for the 9th for missing rent payments. That's not the problem the problem is my mother will be there and she was very abusive to me growing up to the point I have ptsd from some.of the trauma she put me through well she is also going to be there. I was forced to live with her for a while but haven't been living there for a year but my name wasn't off the lease when I moved out. I tried to get my name off the lease but it would cost 3 months rent whixh I didn't have. Is there anyway for me to avoid going to court.of someone go in place of me because I don't feel safe saying where I work or live especially I live with my MIL. Any advice or help would be great.
