Quick Oil Change Botched Job

Got an oil change at a Take 5 on the 3rd of Jan. 4 Feb my oil pressure light comes on. I stop and get the car towed to the dealership so I don’t tear anything up. The dealership is saying I need a new engine. I talk to Take 5 and they say my warranty is 30 days or 1000 miles and me taking the car towed the dealership and not them would void the warranty anyway.

I’m wondering if it’s worth to take to court for this. The dealership is quoting almost $9k.

Edit: The dealership mechanic said the drain plug was loose and there was barely any oil in there. The engine did not fail on me, I got it towed to the dealership before that. The car was actually running normally before that light came on.
