Restraining Orders, But They Provided A Fake/fabricated/impersonation Email As Evidence (mn & Wa)
Hello. I live in Minnesota, they live in Washington state.
I got two restraining orders filed against me (a married couple) but they used fabricated/fake emails as evidence/proof of me "harassing" and "threatening" them. Luckily, I have everything already saved, screenshotted, etc. because I've been suspicious of him for a year now, but only recently confirmed he was lying to me. He cheated on his wife with me (sexual texts and pics). I asked him to tell her the truth, but this is how he responded/retaliated.
Do I need a lawyer? How can I prove that these emails are fake or that is someone impersonating me?
I'm okay with letting the restraining orders be issued, but I'm not okay with just those images/emails. I am afraid they will create more false evidence after the restraining orders are issued.
Also, only three people in my life have known about this issue (four including my therapist), but I genuinely can't imagine any of them going to the extreme of harassing someone like this. I'm very cautious about who I'm close to, and I'm generally private about my personal relationships and issues/stress. I truly believe the husband has fabricated these emails.
