Room Mate Is Breaking Our Signed Agreement And Leaving In Two Weeks. Also Wrote Me A Bad Check.

FLORIDA I desperately needed a room mate for the duration of my lease, which ends in May 2025. I found someone who agreed to do a 5 month lease at $1150 month, utilities included. Rent is 2900 plus 500 for utilites.

The second time she came to look at the room, she asked if she could move in the same day. Move in cost was first month and $500 SD. She paid cash. I immediately give it to my landlord. Room mate and I have an agreement in writing and it is signed by both. 5 month lease, 3 month minimum stay and 45 days notice if leaving after 3 months. She also said her deposit had to be applied to her last month here, which would be May.

A few days before her 2nd rent payment is due, on Jan 13, out of no where, she writes me a text. "We Have 3 options.
If you prefer, you give me back my deposit and i move out tomorrow. 2nd option i stay until the 13 or 14th but need the dryer working. 3rd option I stay until February 15 and i pay you the month less the $500 but I need the dryer to be working. Many other things but dryer working is more important. Please let me know asap."

She gave me a check for 650 half of her Jan rent payment, and it was returned my chking account is now under review because of this check being returned and I cannot withdraw money or use my debit card. I had to pay my landlord the rent balance, so I fell short on 2 utilities this month and a few other bills that are time sensitive. My water bill is past due and I can't access my money to pay it. It will be disconnected tomorrow. Her vacating Feb 15 and not paying her obligation for Jan is going to cause me to be evicted, Lose my storage unit that's currently leined, and my sons school tuition cannot be paid now. It's going to have devastating affects. Do I have any legal options here for her breaking our agreement?
