Roomate Got Arrested For Dv Tonight, What Are My Next Steps?

Long story short my psychotic roommate got arrested for domestic violence against me tonight. His family has a lot of money and will most likely be released on bail soon. He signed the lease and I am not on the lease. I contacted the landlord and notified her of the incident. She said she might be able to evict the roommate and have me take over the lease, but not sure if that can happen. Besides that, what are my next steps? Move out? Restraining order? Press charges? Find an attorney? I’m honestly in shock and don’t even know what to do or where to go. Any advice helps. Thank you.
