Scam Artist Lawyer Has Been Committing Malpractice To Dozens.

I recently retained a real estate attorney (or so I thought) to help send a demand letter to a previous owner of our property, who lied on our disclosures about a low producing well that occasionally goes dry! Long story short this lawyer passed me off to another lawyer (who isn't barred in Texas where we are) who was flaky on how to handle the case, wouldn't answer my calls and some of my important emails, didn't know about the statue of limitations deadline until I brought it up and miscommunicated/lied several times about prices and processes and about having a meeting before proceeding to discovery. Many mistakes on our document etc were made when they were filed it cost me over $3,000 due to this. I finally got wise to their scheme of leaving information off or messing up the date ect so it would be sent back to them and then they could double charge for the document. I canceled their service and they continued to endorse pleadings from the demand letter and file it ect and charge me. I paid about $7,000 for the demand letter scam and now all the unapproved work and the "motion to withdraw as council" stuff..they want another $7,400! $13,400 for a demand letter that wasn't even served to all of the defendants and no negotiations. They only managed to serve the realtor they couldn't find the past owner..I had to pay for a data search thing and find addresses for them also. So my question is what do I need to say in my grievance to get restitution or at least not have to pay the rest! We now lost our ability to sue under the deceptive trades act also which would have allowed asking for 3 times the amount of damages! I'm also thinking of filing a grievance with the sellers real estate agent, as I heard they have insurance for such matters. "omissions of disclosure" or something like that. Or maybe I should take one or more to small claims court?? I don't have the money to hire another attorney as this one drained our savings and halfway maxed out my credit card and I'm scared to get more into debt we're already struggling so much. Thanks!
