She Died And I Know Very Little About Her Finances Or Tax Situation. Do I Need To File Her Taxes?

I live in an entirely different state halfway across the country. My mom passed away suddenly last November. She didn't have an estate or anything in savings. she had a small apartment and a paid off car. There was a very small amount of money in her checking account and business account which were cleared out when she was alive and used for her funeral and celebration of life. There are no finances, investments or property for probate and I have not been appointed by a court to file her taxes. Do I need to file for her and her business?
She received all her mail in a PMO box and not a home address. After her passing, the PMO box was closed without a forwarding address (not my decision or action). She was self employed and did all her transactions through square and venmo/paypal. She would make enough to stay under the financial limit as to not have to make payments on student loans. I have a bag of random documents of her "write offs". Nothing really stating her finances or booking. She was collecting social security. The bank put a freeze on her account as it was going negative from auto payments and any small amount of money left in there the bank said "would need to go to probate" if I wanted to claim any of it. As I understand it would go to debts first and it's not worth my time.
