Should I Pay $2500 For A High Rated Lawyer Or Go With A Public Attorney

One month ago I get arrested in Bell County Tx for possession of marijuana <2oz, pulled over because of my expired tags. PR bonded out the next day, so I’m currently on bail. Yesterday in my hometown which is 100 miles north of Bell, I was literally on my way to get my tags and got pulled over and he let me off really easy and just gave me a class c ticket for drug paraphernalia for some things that were in the vehicle. I’m not worried about this recent ticket other than the fact that I read on google my bail/bond could possibly be revoked? I had alcohol issues when I was younger and got a DWI at 19 and at 21. I’m now 27, still stupid, just for different things. When I talked to some attorneys after getting out, they said best case scenario I think is getting the possession charge in Bell reduced down to a paraphernalia charge and getting a 90 day deferred so as long as I don’t get arrested in that time. This recent ticket now I think troubles things. Really need advice. I didn’t want to pay much but now I fear I may need to
