Sister Is Abused And Wants A Divorce

Hi everyone hoping to get some information to help save my sister.

She’s been married to a very abusive narcissistic man for about 6 years. They have 1 child (8yrs old). He does not physically abuse her. He controls everything including all the money and has run up all HER credit cards. She does not have a job at the moment. He works out of state during the week and flys home on the weekends. She wants a divorce to save herself and daughter.

Is there any resources out there for abused wives that can help her file for divorce pro bono? She has no money to retain a lawyer. We are in CA. Thank you for your time !
