Someone Bought The House Across The Street And Started A Church

i need help on shutting down a church.

located in southern california in a more rural area. I live in a residential neighborhood where all the lots are a good size. think one half acre to 5 acres.

a few years ago somebody bought the house across the street from us and converted the stable to a Buddhist church. I called county and they said there was nothing that could do about it. I will admit I did not pursue it that hard because they were relatively quiet.

they could not get all the necessary permits so they sold the house to some people who have started an Evangelical church. number of the neighbors have already called county because they stated they plan to have 90 to 120 people there every week and for church services.

They seem to be following through because they have paved the entire lawn for a parking lot. They also just had a wedding with 200 plus people that went on to 3:00 a.m. cars everywhere. it was a nightmare for the neighborhood

the neighbors all contacted county code enforcement because we do not want this nr residential neighborhood. county said they could not issue a cease and desist due to the first amendment rights

fwiw, we don't care about the religion. we all care that they're just loud and traffic is going to suck in our small neighborhood

any thoughts on how we can get this shut down?
