Someone Is Fraudulently Using My Address.

My girlfriend and I live together in an apartment. A few months ago, we began receiving someone’s mail, I will call them Al. We have no idea who Al is and he definitely doesn’t live at my address. Whenever we received Al’s mail, we put it back in our post box to return to sender. We were extremely careful about this as the mail was always from the court of the county I live in (Allen County, IN if it matters). Eventually the postman stopped picking it up so I had to start taking it to the post office. Anyways, this week we get a little card in the mail addressed to Al saying there is a warrant out for their arrest. So a little freaked out we called the sheriffs office and unsurprisingly they said theres nothing they can do, which I understand.

My question is, is there anything I can do to keep the cops from kicking my door in at 7am, or do I just have to wait for them to come looking and find out Al isn’t here? I have a ring camera so everyone who enters and exits my house is on video if that helps.
