Struggling To Get A Valid Photo Id

Hello, as the title says I am severely struggling with this issue.
I was in a abusive situation with my parents and left at 18, the problem is my parents had pulled me out of school at 16, and never helped me get any form of identification after that, all I have is my birth certificate, social security card, immunization records, and a report card from back when i used to be in school.

Being below 21, my parents could sign for me, I know this, but I moved to NY with a friend who helped me get out of my past situation, and I cannot have my parents sign for me from so far away, nor do I wish to speak to them in the first place.

Getting an ID seems to be nothing but a circle, the things i need for an ID require an ID, like getting my GED, or a bank account, and I really dont know what to do anymore, i feel like im reaching a breaking point.
