Texas Squatter In Home Without Consent - Filed False Police Report And Had Legal Tenant Arrested For Assault. Need To Find Legal Remedy To Regain Possession Of Home (fur Baby Is A Hostage)

What are the options here to regain possession of home? My friend “John” was going to rent a room to a guy. John has a lease agreement with owner to occupy home. John discovers day 1 that guy had lied about having a job etc and asks him to leave immediately. Guy has no legal claim or right to be in home. Guy decides to call and lie to police about John assaulting him, and John is arrested and taken to jail. Now guy is in John’s home with John’s dog. Since domestic violence was charged John cannot go home where guy is. We need any and all options for getting back in house. John has friends who can step in if needed on his behalf but we want to do this without anyone else getting arrested for nothing. This guy is clearly a con man and has no regard for the law. All right advice welcome.
