I already knew that my ADHD medications would more than likely affect my results, which is why I brought all of my medications as well as a note from my doctor. The lab doing the initial test said that they were not the ones who I needed to share the information with and that I should expect a call from another lab and that they would have their MRO inquire about and verify any medications that may have caused the results. Well after almost 10 days of waiting, they called but they didn’t ask me about any medication or legitimate explanations, they just told me that I failed my drug screen due to testing positive for methamphetamines / amphetamines. I tried explaining that I was on 2 different forms of meditation for ADHD but they just continued on with their results and said that if I disagreed with their conclusions, I could pay $150.00 to retest my sample.
