Took My Dog To Petco Today To Get Groomed And Now His Ankle Is Fractured.

So I took my dog to get groomed at Petco today normal stuff and then get a call about an hour - hour and a half later that he tried to jump out of the tub and he broke a nail and it wouldn’t stop bleeding an he was gimping so they sent him to an emergency vet they called me and did X-rays and said he had a small fracture on his ankle and will need to be sedated for surgery. So I gave the approval. Petco obviously said they will pay all the expenses. I understand accidents happen. I just don’t understand this one. Something doesn’t feel right in my gut. Like aren’t the dogs leashed to the bath tubs so they don’t jump out? I just don’t get it. What do I do? Just shrug it off and assume accidents happen? Or I just don’t even know??? Any advice is much appreciated.
