Two Misdemeanors

i got arrested for two misdemeanors, on family assault charge class a and a resisting arrest charge also a misdemeanor. i have no prior record and i have never been arrested before, i had just had surgery and was off of my medication and got into an altercation with my friend while drunk and then resisted arrest. i believe that the assault charge will be dropped but i’m worried about the resisting charge i really don’t want to go to jail again after my court date and i’m trying to avoid probation and i haven’t been able to get a lawyer yet and i’m just wondering if anyone has any experience here
