Using Spy Cameras And An Attorney To Circumvent A Peace Order
I have a longstanding personal beef with my neighbor, which has culminated in me being granted a peace order after they threw a rock through my glass patio door and then walked into my house to “inspect the damage”. They unsuccessfully tried to fight the peace order on the grounds that they happen to be on our HOA board and were “acting in an official capacity”. My neighbour is now pissed about this—they’re no longer able to bang on my door for every perceived slight.
They’ve now set up security cameras on trees owned by the HOA that point directly into my house. I have to be careful about opening my front door and always keep my curtains closed.
They’ve also apparently retained an attorney, who has now been harassing me via email with the exact same content that I just got a peace order against his client for. He’s threatened that the HOA will foreclose on my home because my cat is too loud, I get too many packages delivered, they think my wood floors are improperly installed because it’s so loud, etc etc.
I filed a Bar Association complaint against this clown attorney and never heard back. Should I file another peace order against the attorney? When I called the courthouse, they told me I couldn’t file for a violation because technically it was the HOA sending me this stuff, even though it was coordinated by the neighbour.
They also still haven’t paid restitution for the damage (about $1200), and their attorney said they don’t intend to.
