Veterinary Negligence Legal Advice

I’m a 100% disabled veteran. I took my dog to a vet neurologist hospital for surgery. Surgery went well. That night, they took him outside to go to the bathroom and they lost hold of him (this is on camera). They couldn’t find him. He ended up getting ran over by a car and died. They didn’t bother to call me until midnight, and he’d been lost for hours at that point. They called me 10 minutes before they received a call that he was brought into an ER, dead on arrival.
The owners of the practice offered me a settlement in exchange for an NDA. Are there any lawyers I could speak to? What would you guys do if you were in my shoes? I would like to put these people out of business. I would never forgive myself if I signed this NDA and this ended up happening to another dog…
I have disability for PTSD / depression / anxiety and I haven’t been able to function since this happened. I am a shell of who I once was. And my dog didn’t deserve to die like this, nobody’s does. What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Thank you for your answers in advance. I truly am at a loss. I am so heartbroken. I don’t know what to do.
