What Are The Legal Ramifications For Exposing The People Who Sa'd Me?

I was SA'd as a child by two people of the same family. At the time of abuse, one was a grown man and the other was under 18 for some of the abuse, then turned 18 and continued the abuse. Full story on my profile.

I recently learned that my abusers either have children and/or are around children regularly. My goal is to protect those children, and I've considered reaching out to their family members to share what happened to me in hopes of preventing any more SA.

However I was told (on my reddit posts) that I can basically be sued for defamation and/or they can file charges against me.

I have no proof of what they did to me, this happened from 96-02 when I was a child myself (ages 6 -12).

What legal action can they do to me if I tell their family members?

I just want to do the right thing and I'm scared of being called a liar and having my life ruined (as if they didn't do that already....). I don't want money from them, I don't want apologies, I don't want anything from them. I just want people to be aware of their cruelty and to protect the kids.
