What Happen If I Resign In Probation Period??

Information: •I arrived in Oman on 16th December 2024.

•The company took my passport on 17th December 2024 and still has it.

•I started working on 22nd December 2024.

•My offer letter/agreement states that if I terminate the agreement or resign before completing 24 months, I have to serve a 2-month notice period and pay the visa fee.

•The agreement also mentions a 3-month probation period.

•During the interview, the company didn’t inform me that they are contractors or that I’d be working at another company’s steel plant.

•My job is supposed to be as a data entry operator, but they are also assigning me outdoor tasks, which I cannot manage.

•Last month, I was unwell, and despite submitting a sick leave certificate, the company deducted my salary and compnay does not provide sick leave.

•The company has a rule where if an employee is absent for one day, they deduct two days’ salary.

The steel plant where the company sent me to work assigned me supervisory tasks, which I couldn’t manage. Then They told me not to come from the next day, and I haven’t gone to work for the past three days. I spoke to the company and told them I couldn’t handle the work at the steel plant. The company is now asking me to resign and pay the visa fee to leave.

But I don’t have the money to pay for the visa fee. Please provide me with legal advice and help me figure out how to return to India from Oman without paying the visa fee. I need your assistance.
