Wife Went To Jail For Probation Violation

2 years ago, my wife plead guilty to two counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. She was put on probation, which is due to expire on April 25th, along with 24 hours community service.
Late last year, my wife--diagnosed bipolar, borderline, and some other things, had a manic episode that lasted a month. She was hospitalized under a 302 four times between November and December.
On the third time, while at the ER in the middle of the 302 process, a security guard snatched my wife's phone out of her hand, because she was recording them, and my wife retaliated by hitting the security guard once. She was then restrained and bit another security guard. She spent 2 weeks at a mental health facility after that, was discharged, was out for 2 days, then was 302d again for a further week.
In January, she received letters informing her that she had court early February for one count of misdemeanor assault and one count misdemeanor harassment resulting from the incident I just described.
We went to court, along with a lawyer, and the police officer and security guards agreed to drop the charges provided she remains in treatment and completes an anger management course. She was to go back to court in 60 days to prove she had been in treatment and had completed the course.
Today, she contacted her probation officer to talk about her difficulty finding meaningful opportunities for community service, which has to be complete by April 25th. Her probation officer said it was more serious then that, and that a warrant had been put out for her arrest yesterday due to violating her probation to being arrested for assault charges.
My wife explained to the probation officer the agreement that was had in court early February, but she said it did not matter. She told my wife to turn herself in. My wife turned herself in 30 minutes ago.
