Will I Ever Be Able To Go Back To The Store I Was Banned From?

Hi!! So this may or may not be stupid but I’m really worried and wanted to ask for advice, especially because I have never encountered any legal trouble.

So today I (19F) took my sibling (13F) to Five Below and while there they got caught stealing. I had no clue that they were stealing or had slipped anything in their pocket so I was really surprised. Turns out they snagged a 5$ hello kitty keychain. Anyways, at the front they were confronted and we were both banned from the store. I apologized to them for what my sibling had done and told them that I had no clue that they were stealing and they responded that my sibling ruined it for the both of us and if we came back they would call the police.

I’m really stressed because I am usually a very rule driven person and I have never gotten in trouble like this. So I wanted to ask if I would ever be able to go back and if I would get arrested if I did? Is there a way to get it appealed? What do I do?
