Work Told Me To Dump My Work Trash At Local Gas Stations
I’ll explain a bit more in detail. I work for a pool cleaning company and i use approx daily: 4 gallons of muriatic acid jugs, 3 bags of salt, 1 gallon of liquid chlorine (some other small things) There are small remnants of the chemicals used in the jugs left over.
The company pays for phone usage ($10/week) The company does not pay for trash disposal
We do not have any kind of warehouse (the whole company is remotely operated via zoom)operates poorly lol
Should employees here be composited for trash disposal since they stick us with the left over garbage with no clear way to dispose of them.
Is it legal for them to tell us “toss it out at your house or gas station, random dumpster”
Edit: ^ also, we have to dispose of 10-25lbs of sand probably 2 times a month. all the current employees just say to find somewhere on the side of the road and dump it
no plastic with that, just sand with remnants of chemicals in it I would not put that sand in my kids play sand pit lol
