Written Out By Grandmothers Spouse 2 Months Before Passing

I was in dss custody (foster care) when I was a teenager when my grandmother passed away from cancer. She had told me that if I needed anything I should just ask her boyfriend and he would take care of me. I think she honestly believed that he would, we had previous problems trying to get gifts or mail to me in the group homes. A few months before she passed her previous will was revoked and her common law husband was now the beneficiary to EVERYTHING. There was a minor clause where if he happened to die before her I would remain the beneficiary as well as his child, but she was terminally ill getting worse by the day and he was in perfect health.
Just now obtained a copy of the will after not having any knowledge of how to do anything about this.
She passed away in 2017 and the probate was stamped by October that year.
I know this man knew exactly what he was doing.
Am I just screwed?
Also let me mention, his first wife passed away of cancer. My Grandmother did not have cancer when they met 10 years prior. When I went to visit once about a year after she passed, he had already moved in another (sick) woman. The dog had also apparently passed from cancer. Just a weird observation.
