Dan Crenshaw Appears To Threaten Tucker Carlson In Hot Mic Moment

A Republican congressman from Texas was caught on a hot mic Monday apparently threatening to kill former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

In an exchange with a British journalist, Rep. Dan Crenshaw called Carlson “the worst person” and said they had never met in person.

“If I ever meet him, I’ll fucking kill him,” said Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who represents a Houston-area district.

He made the remarks following an interview with conservative British news channel GB News, whichpublished footage of the exchange.

In the interview, Crenshaw criticized Carlson's opposition to U.S. aid to Ukraine, saying the pundit “doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”

The two have long traded barbs via social media, with Carlson mocking Crenshaw as one of “the dumbest” Republicans and Crenshaw deriding Carlson as a “cowardly, know-nothing elitist.”

A Carlson ally, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, asked Crenshaw on X whether he had threatened her friend. The congressman denied it, answering: “Lol, no.”

Carlson himself responded to Crenshaw’s remarks by inviting him for an interview.

“Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address,” Carlsonwrote on X.
