Massad Boulos Picked To Be Trump's Senior Adviser On Arab And Middle Eastern Affairs
President-elect Donald Trump announced that Massad Boulos, the father-in-law to his daughter Tiffany Trump, will serve as his senior adviser for Arab and Middle Eastern affairs in to a Truth Social post Sunday.
“Massad is an accomplished lawyer and a highly respected leader in the business world, with extensive experience on the International scene,” Trump said in the post. “He has been a longtime proponent of Republican and Conservative values, an asset to my Campaign, and was instrumental in building tremendous new coalitions with the Arab American Community.”
Boulos, a prominent Lebanese-American businessman, is the father of Michael Boulos, Tiffany Trump’s husband. The pick comes a day after Trump announced his pick of Charles Kushner — the father of Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner — to serve as the ambassador to France. In his first term, Jared Kushner pursued diplomatic initiatives in the Middle East on Trump's behalf.
Boulos, who is head of the family automobile business, campaigned for Trump, especially in Michigan with Arab American voters. In his announcement, Trump described Boulos as a “dealmaker” who supports peace in the Middle East.
“Massad is a dealmaker, and an unwavering supporter of PEACE in the Middle East,” Trump said in the post. “He will be a strong advocate for the United States, and its interests, and I am pleased to have him on our team!”
