How To Fast Travel In Black Myth: Wukong – Everything You Need To Know About Keeper’s Shrines

Card image cap

Getting around in Black Myth: Wukong involves visiting Keeper’s Shrines which also act as Fast Travel points within the game. If you are a fan of other Souls games, think of them as bonfires. These checkpoints also allow you to upgrade your gear and are the point where you can zip about the land.

How to Fast Travel

Once you have located a Keeper’s Shrine – and there are plenty about – you will need to interact with it to bring up its options. If you merely wish to travel to another location then you can select, obviously enough – the Travel option.

Now all you need to do is to select the region you wish to travel to – note that you will have already needed to visit, unlock, and discovered shrines there before you can use them. Once you have selected the region, choose from any of the Keeper’s Shrines within that region to transport yourself there.

Make sure you use the Shrine for anything else you want to do before traveling.

How to unlock Keeper’s Shrines

If you want to make sure you can use a Shrine in the future as a Fast Travel point you need to interact with it first to unlock it. Just spotting it will not be enough.

Approach the Keeper’s Shirne and use your Interact button and select the Offer Incense option. The Shrine will be open and can be returned to from any other Keeper’s Shrine you find in the BMW world.

Is there a map in Black Myth: Wukong?

Perhaps somewhat weirdly, there is no map in Black Myth: Wukong – so those sites hoping there would be for easy traffic like in so many games will be bitterly disappointed. So traveling around is accomplished by using the shrines as outlined above.
