Officials responded to an apparent collision between two airplanes at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday morning, the airport announced.
The collision involving a taxiing Japan Airlines plane and a parked Delta Air Lines plane happened at approximately 10 a.m. local time, according to the airport's post on X.
Officials said no injuries have been reported after the taxiing Japan Airlines aircraft appeared to hit the tail of the parked Delta Airline plane between the airport's S concourse and the south maintenance hangars.
The airport said it was working to safely deplane passengers to bring them to the terminal. For all other flights, officials say there has been a minimal impact on operations due to the crash.
